In 16th, January, 1956, Yantai Machinery Repair Company was founded;
In 1959, the first ammonia refrigeration compressor's production was started, and the first 2AL-1 refrigeration compressor was produced.

1960s~1970s
In 1966, the first 4AV-12.5 piston refrigeration compressor was independently produced.
In 1968, Yantai Machinery Repair Company was changed to Yantai Refrigeration Compressor Company.

1970s~1980s
In 1973, the first China's screw refrigeration compressor was co-designed in Yantai Moon.
In 1978, trial production of first China's screw refrigeration compressor was finished and it passed the ministerial level testing.
In 1979, the first China's movable screw compressor brine chiller unit finished its trail production.
In October, 1979, the trademark "Yantai Machinery" of refrigeration compressor was registered.
In November, 1979, the trademark "Yantai Machinery" was rated as Shandong Famous Brand.

1980s~1990s
In 6th, March, 1980, Yantai Machinery Repair Company and Yantai Refrigeration Compressor Component Factory were merged.
In 1st, January, 1981, Yantai Agricultural was merged, and Yantai Refrigeration Compressor Company was officially established.
In 1982, refrigeration compressor testing lab. was established, which was outfitted with diverse performance testing devices. The lab. has highest testing precision and was able to test most refrigeration compressor parts at that time.
In September, 1982, Yantai Machinery 8AS-12.5 ammonia refrigeration compressor was awarded the silver metal for high quality.
In 9th, April, 1986, Yantai Machinery Company was merged.
In November, 1988, Yantai Machinery 4AV-12.5 ammonia refrigeration compressor was awarded the silver metal for high quality.
In 24th, November, 1988, joint-stock reform was delivered for Yantai Refrigeration Compressor Company, and it started to issue share between natural persons.

1990s~2000s
In 6th, November, 1990, Yantai Casting Factory was merged.
In December, 1990, Yantai Moon was awarded "National First Class Company "by the State Council.
In November, 1991, a Sino-HK joint venture, Yantai Haida Refrigeration Equipment Co. , Ltd. was founded.
In 28th, December, 1992, a Sino-American joint venture, Yantai Hongda Refrigeration Equipment Co. , Ltd. was founded.
In 25th, August, 1993, a Sino-Korea joint venture, Yantai Yueyou Refrigerated container co., Ltd was founded.
